Technical Recruiter – Singapore (Contract)

About the role

Databricks is seeking a Contract Recruiter to lead the hiring of technical go‑to‑market talent across Singapore and the broader APJ region. You will own the full‑cycle recruitment process for Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers and Field Engineering leadership, helping the company scale its high‑impact teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruiting for technical GTM roles, from initial outreach to offer acceptance.
• Partner with Field Engineering and Sales leaders to shape sourcing strategy, market mapping and competitive intelligence.
• Activate and engage passive, hard‑to‑reach technical talent and build sustainable pipelines that meet aggressive hiring goals.
• Develop data‑driven closing strategies, set benchmarks and continuously improve the hiring process.
• Champion a world‑class candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for Databricks.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting in software, data or AI domains, especially for technical GTM, pre‑sales or field engineering roles.
• Track record of scaling teams quickly in a high‑growth environment without compromising quality.
• High energy, grit and a relentless work ethic; ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑paced settings.
• “AI builder” mindset with genuine curiosity about emerging technologies and the ability to speak credibly to technical candidates.
• Creative, resource‑ful sourcing approach and strong partnership skills with senior stakeholders.
