Technician - F10 PEE ODT

About the role

Micron is hiring a technician for its Fab 10N/X site, supporting process and R&D engineering in the wafer fabrication sector of semiconductor manufacturing. The role covers setting up equipment, monitoring operations, troubleshooting tools and helping engineering teams identify yield problems.

Key responsibilities

• Run technical tests and experiments for process and R&D engineering in wafer fabrication.
• Set up semiconductor processing equipment to strict specifications.
• Monitor, audit and mentor line operators to achieve world-class results.
• Process test runs and prepare detailed records, charts and graphs for engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
• Troubleshoot tool issues and track, preserve and refine equipment and processes.
• Analyze and dispose of out-of-control events according to established SPC rules for tool qualification and product measurements.
• Assist engineering requests by testing and experimenting, gathering and recording data.
• Help install, relocate and upgrade tools, and improve tool uptime through detailed problem solving.
• Record all maintenance in check sheets and review them regularly.
• Work with other departments to solve issues collaboratively.
• Support and maintain TPM and 6S activities.

Required profile

• A relevant diploma in any engineering course or equivalent working experience.
• Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related field.
• Open to flexible hours, including night shifts.
