Technician III – Production Technical Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technician III to operate automated manufacturing equipment for the production, packaging and sterilisation of contact lenses at the Tuas site in Singapore. The role ensures that products meet quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a DSM Flex line together with the team to manufacture quality contact lenses.
• Run the autoclave machine for sterilisation of lenses.
• Perform lot changes and routine maintenance on DSM Flex lines.
• Maintain 5S standards and ensure complete batch documentation in line with procedures.
• Initiate and execute at least one Kaizen improvement idea per year.

Required profile

• Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma.
• Experience in a GMP‑controlled manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts with monthly day/night rotation.
