Technician III – Production Technical Support

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technician III to join the DSM Production Technical Support Team. You will handle complex technical tasks that keep our eye‑care manufacturing lines running efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Manage resources and schedules to meet specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality, identify faulty products, and take corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Follow GxP regulations, SOPs, and complete required training.

Required profile

• Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts.
