Technician

About the role

Andaz Singapore is seeking a motivated Technician to join its Engineering Department. You will help ensure the hotel’s facilities run smoothly and provide consistent, high‑quality service to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the day‑to‑day operation of the Engineering Department, supporting all other hotel functions.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and painting tasks across the property.
• Work with building management systems and central plant equipment to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex building‑related problems.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment by following established procedures.

Required profile

• Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Building Management.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Technician/Tradesperson in a hotel or 2 years in a large building/complex with a central plant.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Experience in painting and general maintenance is preferred.
