Technician (Main Line)

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Main Line Technician to support production operations in Singapore. The role focuses on achieving output targets while maintaining high quality and compliance with manufacturing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily production output, ensuring targets are met and machines are fully utilized.
• Ensure production orders are completed on time to meet On‑Time‑Delivery goals.
• Identify process problems, troubleshoot causes, and collaborate with Process Engineers on solutions.
• Suggest improvements for production efficiency and workplace safety.
• Conduct staff training, enforce safety policies, and promote disciplined work practices.
• Participate in production meetings, 6S activities, and NPI closure meetings, reporting issues during FAT/FAI processing.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC, 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently, stand for long periods, and handle rotating or 12‑hour shift work when required.
• Commitment to Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and compliance with QMS standards such as AS9100D and ISO.
