Technician – Opto‑Mechanical Assembly

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Technician to join its Operations team in Singapore. The role involves hands‑on assembly, alignment and testing of opto‑mechanical components for a range of photonic products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical and optical assembly and testing, including lens handling and alignment.
• Maintain ESD control when working with sensitive components and follow safety, quality and material‑control procedures.
• Support continuous improvement by suggesting preventative and corrective actions and collaborating with engineering on new product introductions.
• Adapt to work across different departments as business needs evolve.

Required profile

• GCE ‘N’ Level or Technical Certificate and above.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in opto‑mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, disciplined and a team player.
• Compliance with QMEHS (Quality, Environment, Safety and Health) requirements.
