About the role
Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Technician (SPDT) to operate and maintain a Diamond Turning machine in its Singapore manufacturing facility. The role involves shift work and close coordination with the production team.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the Diamond Turning machine and record daily output data.
- Set up machines during part changeovers and ensure they are warmed up before shift start.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, report scrap or technical problems, and inform the leader of any faults.
- Attend daily briefings, provide status updates, and communicate handover information to the next shift.
Required profile
- GCE ‘O’ Level or Technical Certificate (or higher).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shift patterns as required.
Required skills
- Operation of Diamond Turning machines.
- Machine setup and changeover procedures.
- Troubleshooting and basic maintenance of production equipment.
