Telecommunications Designer – Hybrid, Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a Telecommunications Designer to plan, design, and develop telecom systems and network infrastructure across a variety of projects. The role combines technical design, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with industry standards. It is ideal for professionals passionate about communication technologies, network architecture, and emerging connectivity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design telecommunications infrastructure and communication network solutions, producing technical drawings, layouts, schematics, and design documentation.
• Develop network architecture for voice, data, wireless, and fiber‑optic systems, ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct site assessments, surveys, capacity planning, and coverage analysis; prepare engineering calculations and design reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients; participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and service providers, prepare design submissions, permit applications, and maintain project records.
• Support system integration, interoperability planning, and quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Network Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 1–8 years of experience in telecommunications design, network engineering, or infrastructure design.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
