Telephone Operator – Hotel Front Desk Support

About the role

The Hotel is seeking a Telephone Operator to manage inbound guest calls, provide accurate information and ensure a high level of service. You will act as the first point of contact for guests, supporting the Front Office and other hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly and handle guest inquiries with quality service.
• Provide cordial assistance via the hotel hotline for all guest requests.
• Process basic requests such as invoicing, restaurant enquiries, facility operating hours, Lost & Found and email queries.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to deliver friendly, courteous and efficient service.
• Operate computer terminals for the call centre and Front Office.
• Maintain adequate supplies of forms and stationery for Front Office operations.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant experience as a telephone operator or call‑centre agent is preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including overnight, weekends and public holidays (4‑day work week, 12‑hour shifts).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
