Telesales Officer - Personal Loan

About the role

A reputable Malaysian bank is hiring a Telesales Officer in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, to sell its Fund Transfer and Term Loan products by phone to existing and prospective customers. The position is on a 6-month initial contract, which can extend to a 12-month renewable contract depending on performance. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound telesales calls promoting Fund Transfer and Term Loan products.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable loan solutions.
• Meet individual sales targets and productivity KPIs.
• Follow up on leads, applications and documentation to ensure timely conversion.
• Explain product features, pricing, benefits and terms accurately.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Comply with internal policies, compliance standards and MAS regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE 'O' Levels or Diploma (degree preferred).
• Prior telesales or sales experience in banking, loans or financial products is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of lending products preferred; training is provided.

Required skills

• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Comfortable with outbound calling and meeting sales targets.
