Temp Healthier SG Ambassador (1-Year Contract)

About the role

NUHS Population Health & Community Care (PHCC) is recruiting a temporary Healthier SG Ambassador for a one-year contract. As the Regional Health Manager for western Singapore, PHCC brings together NUHS hospitals and polyclinics, general practitioners, social care providers and community partners to improve residents' health and wellbeing. The ambassador manages the one-stop Healthier SG booth and assists patients with Healthier SG.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with Healthier SG assisted enrolment through small-group sharing and one-to-one engagement with patients and residents in outreach settings such as hospitals, designated booths and community settings, using the mobile app or system application.
• Explain the benefits of Healthier SG initiatives and the importance of enrolling, making the first visit to review the Health Plan with the Primary Care Provider, fulfilling preventive health recommendations and following up for an annual review.
• Attend to Healthier SG-related enquiries from patients and caregivers.

Required profile

• Customer service oriented, passionate about serving and interacting with people, and prepared to go the extra mile.
• Good communication skills in English and a local language or dialect, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt, multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Pleasant disposition and personality, comfortable working in a team-based environment.
• Able to stand for 3-4 hours at minimum throughout the day.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Comfortable using technology, including mobile apps and system applications.
