Tender & Business Development Executive

About the role

DHL Express Singapore is seeking a proactive Tender & Business Development Executive to lead the end‑to‑end tendering process and support business growth initiatives. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, timely submissions and identify new market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full tender lifecycle, from document preparation and bid submission to post‑tender follow‑up and debriefing.
• Review contracts, NDAs and agreements to mitigate risks and align with company objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, HR, IT and Customer Service to gather information, secure approvals and shape tender strategies.
• Maintain a centralized repository of tender documents, agreements and performance metrics.
• Continuously improve tendering and business development processes through best‑practice implementation.
• Drive lead generation by researching markets, attending industry events and networking.
• Build and nurture relationships with external partners such as government agencies, chambers of commerce and other companies.
• Conduct market analysis to monitor industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in tender management or business development.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation.
• Proactive attitude towards identifying new opportunities and improving processes.

Required skills

• Experience with document preparation and bid management.
• Familiarity with contract review and risk assessment.
• Ability to maintain databases and track performance metrics.
