Test Engineer Intern - Bachelor's Degree

About the role

Marvell Asia Pte Ltd (MAPL) Test Engineering is a multi-disciplinary team in Singapore covering New Product Introduction (NPI) and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) across Marvell's semiconductor portfolio, including xPU, Switch, Storage, ODSP and PHY product lines. The Test Engineer Intern supports basic ATE test program development, characterization of new products and yield/failure reporting, and works with other teams to generate key reports and dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Understand basic ATE test program structure and flow, and basic production flow for processor products
• Understand basic fault, test coverage and yield models
• Generate yield/failure Pareto reports for new products
• Write scripts in Perl and Python to parse raw test data
• Perform characterization on new products and generate standard characterization reports
• Understand standard end-to-end yield reporting formats and automate key weekly yield reports

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• Classes in basic electrical circuit theory and a programming language (C/C++)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with ATE test platforms is a strong plus
