Test Engineer – Mechanical, Thermal & RF Testing

About the role

The Test Engineer will conduct mechanical, thermal and RF testing on test sockets, contact media, jigs and fixtures, supporting semiconductor and precision engineering projects. You will work closely with vendors, clients and internal teams to ensure high‑quality test results and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical (force, resistance, life‑cycle), thermal and RF testing on various test components.
• Operate and interpret data from advanced analytical instruments such as FDR, MPT, cycling and RF machines.
• Design and set up custom test fixtures and procedures.
• Review test standards, specifications and prepare detailed test reports.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, suppliers and sub‑contractors to resolve engineering issues.
• Maintain test records, laboratory equipment and ensure calibration according to ISO and industry standards.
• Validate new testing methods and equipment, and develop testing protocols.
• Prepare technical presentations summarising results, trends and material performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• ITE/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Precision Engineering or related field.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience, preferably in semiconductor testing (fresh graduates welcome).
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SolidWorks and RF concepts is a plus.
• Strong data‑analysis, statistical interpretation and laboratory‑software skills.
• Excellent technical writing and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and work independently on challenging projects.
• Result‑oriented with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude.
