Therapy Aide – Patient Care Support

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Therapy Aide to join our clinic and provide essential support to therapists and patients. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a clean, safe treatment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and record client responses to treatment.
• Prepare equipment, treatment rooms, and change linen as needed.
• Assist patients with mobility, including walking, sitting, standing, and wheelchair transport within the facility.
• Liaise between clients, therapists, and other departments to coordinate care.
• Carry out basic prescribed treatments under therapist supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of therapy areas and equipment.
• Handle administrative duties such as ordering supplies, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a caring nature.
• Willingness to work long hours, including public holidays and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Outlook Express.
