Toolmaker – Precision Stamping & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our manufacturing team on Jurong Island. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and repairing stamping tools to ensure smooth production and high part quality.

Key responsibilities

• Set up tools for production and unload them for repair and preventive maintenance.
• Repair and maintain stamping dies to meet daily output and quality targets.
• Provide technical support to the production line, troubleshooting and adjusting tooling on stamping machines.
• Operate stamping press equipment and change production equipment as required.
• Measure stamped parts using precision equipment such as Tool Maker’s Microscope, Micrometer, Profile Projector and Smartscope.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Work independently with minimal guidance and perform overtime or shift work when needed.

• Ability to work independently and follow detailed technical instructions.
• Willingness to perform overtime and shift work as required.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
