Topside Project Manager – FPSO (Singapore)

About the role

The Topside Project Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of the FPSO topsides scope, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, safety expectations and business objectives. The role coordinates engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, integration, commissioning and handover activities across multiple disciplines and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to close‑out, delivering on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Provide leadership and oversight of topsides fabrication, module construction, assembly, erection, integration and completion across yards and project sites.
• Coordinate topsides integration with the hull, marine systems, utilities and other FPSO packages, ensuring constructability and interface management.
• Manage project financial performance, cost control, cash flow and commercial compliance, handling deviations, claims and changes.
• Establish project plans, schedules and risk controls; monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Act as primary client interface, maintaining effective communication, reporting and stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, offshore or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Proven experience leading complex, multi‑disciplinary projects through engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Strong understanding of contract, risk and commercial management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
• Experience working in matrix organisations and multicultural teams.
