Trainee Aircraft Engine Technician – No Experience Required

About the role

This 12‑month traineeship is designed for individuals eager to start a career in aerospace MRO without prior experience. You will receive a blend of classroom instruction and hands‑on training on Rolls‑Royce Trent engine platforms, leading to a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician position.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a structured programme that includes company familiarisation, classroom training and on‑the‑job training (OJT).
• Attend a three‑month classroom programme covering theoretical and practical modules delivered by an external training academy.
• Complete a nine‑month OJT attachment, working on Rolls‑Royce Trent engines under experienced mentors.
• After successful completion, serve a two‑year bond as a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician.

Required profile

• Relevant NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical, Precision Engineering, etc.).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• No prior work experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Basic engineering knowledge and aptitude for learning engine maintenance procedures.
