Trainee Engineering Technician – Aerospace (Full‑Time)

About the role

This 12‑month traineeship is designed for individuals who want to start a career in the aviation MRO sector without prior experience. You will receive a blend of classroom instruction and hands‑on on‑the‑job training on Rolls‑Royce Trent engine platforms, leading to a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician position.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a structured programme that includes company familiarisation, classroom training and on‑the‑job training.
• Attend a three‑month classroom programme covering theoretical and practical modules delivered by an external academy.
• Complete a nine‑month on‑the‑job attachment, working on Trent engines under experienced mentors.
• After successful completion, serve a two‑year bond as a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician.

Required profile

• Hold a NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical or Precision Engineering).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• No prior work experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
