Training Officer – Community Services (Singapore)

About the role

The Training Officer will support persons with intellectual disabilities (PWIDs) to develop independence in daily living, community participation and social skills. Working across three centres in Tampines, Geylang Serai and Hougang, you will deliver structured learning programmes and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor Individual Learning Programmes (ILP) for each client.
• Teach activities of daily living, home living, community mobility, social and recreational skills.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals to deliver health‑fitness, behaviour management and sensory awareness programmes.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records in the client management system.
• Engage with caregivers through dialogue sessions and home visits.
• Support centre operations, safety procedures and event coordination.

Required profile

• Passion for empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to client safety.
