Transaction Banking Product Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting a Transaction Banking Product Intern for its Transaction Banking Office for Asia, Product Department (TBOA-PD) in Singapore. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is open to Singaporean and PR students only. It is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business analyst for data within TBOA-PD-LPM, working with subject matter experts to enhance data capabilities for performance and risk calculations.
• Develop automated Power BI dashboards to support management reporting, using hypothesis-driven problem solving.
• Support the LPM Head of Department in rolling out AI use cases to TBOA staff outside Singapore, including coordination, user engagement and adoption tracking.
• Research the market and competitors on Virtual Account Management (VAM) and help prepare client-facing materials and product insights.
• Support the RMBi project by coordinating meetings, tracking working group actions and following up on progress.
• Help prepare, format and review pitch books and IOP materials, keeping them aligned with branding guidelines.
• Work with the HOD, subject matter experts, stakeholders and users to support change implementation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong interest in data management, reporting and analysis, and in building and maintaining databases for financial and non-financial product and regional information.
• Keen eye for detail, strong written and spoken English, and ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment.
• Good initiative, communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work independently.
• Chinese proficiency is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
• Preferred: exposure to data management and reporting tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
