Transaction Banking Product (Supply Chain Financing) Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting an intern for its Transaction Banking Office for Asia - Product Department, within the Supply Chain Finance product area. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Trade Product Department with the roll-out of the bank's Supply Chain Finance digital platform and take part in commercialisation activities.
• Support the department with Supply Chain Finance product development.
• Work with the Transaction Banking Sales team to develop new products, analysing customer requirements and the market environment to ensure product suitability.
• Ensure product risk is kept at the appropriate level using the Regional New Product assessment framework.
• Partner with colleagues across the region to deliver an integrated service for customers.

Required profile

• Strong interest in trade product development and management.
• Interest in analysing performance information of products and regions.
• Good initiative, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
• Able to multi-task and deliver work under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
• Strong written and spoken English.
