Transport Supervisor

About the role

Maersk Contract Logistics is looking for a motivated Transport Supervisor to lead daily transport operations, covering middle‑mile and domestic deliveries. You will use cutting‑edge technology and a Transport Management System to ensure efficient, on‑time service for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules, routes, and vehicle allocations.
• Monitor and optimise fleet utilisation, delivery performance and operational productivity.
• Supervise drivers and transport coordinators to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Use the Transport Management System (TMS) for job planning, dispatching, tracking and reporting.
• Provide timely updates of delivery status and maintain accurate operational records.
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues, service disruptions and customer escalations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and operational procedures.
• Prepare operational reports and analyse performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer service and other stakeholders to guarantee seamless delivery execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport, logistics or distribution operations.
• Proven experience in transport planning, fleet management and driver supervision.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS), including Oracle Transport Management.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
