Transport Supervisor

About the role

Maersk Contract Logistics is looking for a motivated Transport Supervisor to lead daily transport operations, including middle‑mile and domestic deliveries. You will use leading‑edge technology and innovative solutions to meet client needs and ensure efficient, on‑time service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules, routes, and vehicle allocations.
• Monitor and optimise fleet utilisation, delivery performance and operational productivity.
• Supervise drivers and transport coordinators to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Utilise Transport Management Systems (TMS) for job planning, dispatching, tracking and reporting.
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues, service disruptions and customer escalations.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations, company policies and operational procedures.
• Prepare operational reports and analyse performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer service and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of deliveries.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport, logistics or distribution operations.
• Proven experience in transport planning, fleet management and driver supervision.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS) such as Oracle Transport Management.
• Microsoft Office tools.
