Transportation Analyst

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Transportation Analyst to support its logistics operations in Singapore. You will work closely with carriers, warehouse teams and internal stakeholders to ensure shipments are executed efficiently and meet service‑level commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Review internal metrics and KPIs to understand how daily activities impact operational performance.
• Follow established transportation and logistics processes to deliver consistent service.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Support quality and operational standards by adhering to documented procedures and QMS requirements.
• Coordinate and arrange domestic shipments, track status, and communicate delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate transportation records in company systems.
• Collaborate with carriers, warehouse personnel and internal teams to resolve routine shipment and logistics issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company policies in all logistics activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated knowledge of logistics, transportation or supply‑chain concepts acquired through education or internship experience.
• Ability to apply foundational business knowledge to resolve routine transportation issues.
• Comfort with using established procedures and escalating complex issues appropriately.
• Strong execution skills and adherence to service, quality and productivity goals.
