Truck Driver

About the role

SR Express is seeking a full‑time Truck Driver to operate its fleet in Singapore. The role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations while complying with company standards and traffic regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Load, unload and secure cargo, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams, reporting delays or issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic, safety and regulatory requirements during each trip.

Required profile

• Valid Class 4 driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local transport and safety regulations and commitment to compliance.
• Experience with basic loading, unloading and cargo securing procedures.
• Strong road‑safety awareness and defensive driving practices.
• Ability to read delivery schedules, route plans and shipping documentation.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods and handle cargo as required.
• Previous experience in local or regional freight transport is an advantage.
