UX Designer for Digital Learning Products

About the role

As a Designer within the Civil Service College, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to create intuitive digital learning experiences for Singapore’s public service. You will apply user‑centred design methods from discovery through to delivery and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design of moderately complex digital learning products, translating user needs and policy requirements into clear journeys, wireframes and high‑fidelity prototypes.
• Conduct user research activities such as interviews, observations, surveys and usability testing, and synthesize findings to inform problem framing and prioritisation.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to resolve constraints, ensure accessibility compliance and contribute reusable patterns to the design system.
• Iterate on designs using product data and feedback, measuring impact and refining experiences to meet learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree in Design, HCI, Psychology or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4‑5 years of experience designing and shipping digital products, preferably in enterprise or learning contexts.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user‑centred problem solving and end‑to‑end design delivery.
• Ability to work independently, surface risks and communicate design decisions with data‑backed rationale.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing and insight synthesis.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design standards.
• Familiarity with design systems and contribution of reusable assets.
