UX/UI Designer

About the role

Kyndryl runs and reimagines the mission-critical technology systems that power leading businesses, and is looking for a UX/UI Designer in Singapore. The role delivers end-to-end design for assigned products, from discovery and research through to implementation, while also harmonising design across related systems and collaborating closely with product teams and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences, producing wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs and UI specifications that developers can implement with minimal clarification
• Run lean user research such as interviews, usability testing and contextual inquiry to validate design decisions
• Work with vendors to ensure design implementation fidelity and deploy designs according to organisational priorities
• Identify shared patterns across systems in the same pillar and build lightweight, reusable component libraries and design patterns
• Integrate into product teams alongside product leads and developers, taking part in agile ceremonies and presenting design rationale to stakeholders
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design, and champion small, practical improvements based on user feedback and analytics

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands-on UX/UI design experience across diverse product types
• Portfolio showing end-to-end design for at least 5 products or systems, with evidence of design consistency across related products
• Track record of collaboration with developers and successful design implementation
• Systems thinker who balances detailed execution with broader pattern recognition, and communicates clearly across product teams

Required skills

• Expert-level Figma (the primary design tool)
• Component-based design, responsive design, WCAG 2.1 accessibility and design systems
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS to talk to developers
• User research using interviews, usability testing and surveys
