Product Designer (UX/UI) – Singapore Global Network

About the role

Singapore Global Network (SGN), a division of the Economic Development Board, is reimagining its digital experience through a single community platform. As the founding UX lead, you will shape the platform from the ground up, starting with a website redesign and leading design across member sign-in, profiles, the contribution hub and funding portal. This is a 1+1 year contract with a multi-year roadmap of at least two years to build the foundation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX/UI design, from user journeys, information architecture and wireframes to interactive, high-fidelity web and mobile prototypes.
• Design intuitive user journeys across key features, including member sign-ins, profiles, the contribution hub and funding portal.
• Build and maintain the design system (components, patterns, tokens, documentation) so visual updates can be rolled out centrally.
• Evolving the platform's look and feel while balancing usability, accessibility and brand continuity.
• Use analytics and user feedback to test and refine what ships, and inform product improvement priorities.
• Work with product managers, engineers and marketing officers on discovery, and define design standards and a design roadmap, mentoring future designers.

Required profile

• 6-8 years in UX/UI or product design, with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
• Experience building or scaling a design system.
• Strong research and interaction design skills, able to move from user interviews to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Systems thinking and ability to design user journeys across multiple touchpoints, including onboarding flows.
• Good understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design and technical collaboration with engineers.
• Ability to handle ambiguity on a 0 to 1 platform, shipping early while designing for the long term.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Singaporean.
