Value Access & Policy (VAP) Intern

About the role

Amgen, a leading biotechnology company, is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join its Value Access & Policy (VAP) department in Singapore. As a market access intern, you will work with VAP and cross-functional teams across the development and implementation of market access solutions and initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, science-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop collaterals for patient support programs
• Provide project management assistance for innovative access initiatives and patient education projects
• Review resources from global sources and summarise them into key messages for value story materials, ensuring accurate referencing
• Support quarterly reviews of pricing and patient support programs (PSPs) to ensure governance is in place
• Learn about new product launch planning, including launch meetings
• Learn how to engage healthcare professionals and patients through patient program implementation
• Identify, gather and analyse data to understand customers, brands, disease areas and healthcare landscapes in Singapore and Malaysia
• Learn about other functions such as medical, clinical research, regulatory, marketing and sales through collaboration

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, life sciences, business or marketing
• Strong attention to detail, very task-oriented and self-starter
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
