Vice President, Business Development (China Market)

About the role

The company seeks a senior leader to drive its expansion into the China market. You will shape and execute the business development strategy for proprietary sludge treatment and membrane technologies, while building a strong customer base across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s business development and market expansion strategy for China.
• Identify, originate, and secure new projects and strategic partnerships.
• Promote and commercialise the Group’s proprietary sludge treatment and membrane technologies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, primarily in China.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum six years of experience in business development, project development, infrastructure, environmental technology, water/wastewater treatment, waste management or engineering.
• At least three years of experience developing projects, customers or strategic partnerships in China.
• Proven track record of originating, negotiating or securing sizeable commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities and operate in a cross‑border environment.
• Willingness to travel and be stationed in China and other regional markets as required.
