About the role
FreeBalance is seeking a Vice President of Global Sales to lead new business development and sales activities within the global public sector. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you will shape and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s footprint in Public Financial Management advisory, training, and solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Grow and mentor a distributed sales team worldwide.
- Achieve global sales quotas by managing the end‑to‑end sales process.
- Coordinate sales initiatives and strategic projects across regional teams.
- Deliver compelling, customer‑centric presentations and proposals.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and revenue reports to senior management.
- Build long‑lasting customer relationships by understanding country‑specific contexts.
- Manage sales pipelines using a CRM tool and oversee proposals, tenders, and negotiations within pricing guidelines.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, prospects, and partners.
- Represent FreeBalance at trade shows, conferences, and international travel as required.
Required profile
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience selling advisory services and solutions internationally.
- Extensive sales leadership experience in the global public sector.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proven track record in mentoring and developing sales personnel.
- Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing market demands.
