Vice President – Project Management (APAC)

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President to lead APAC‑wide IT project initiatives, acting as the regional representative for global programs such as HR system and data platform implementations. The role bridges global governance with local execution, ensuring alignment, quality, and timely delivery across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Represent APAC IT in global projects, supporting planning, execution, reporting, and governance.
• Manage end‑to‑end APAC workstreams (design, build, test, deployment, hyper‑care) and maintain regional project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Serve as primary liaison between global IT, APAC business users, and external vendors, facilitating alignment of regional requirements with global designs.
• Oversee system integrations, data migration, security, access control, and infrastructure readiness while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, cut‑over, go‑live preparation, and post‑go‑live support, including change management and user training.
• Produce status reports, dashboards, and escalation materials for both APAC and global audiences, maintaining documentation to global standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, Finance or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 10–15 years of program or project management experience, preferably in data, analytics, or enterprise transformation.
• Proven track record leading regionally distributed or global programs across APAC.
• Extensive experience interacting with senior business stakeholders and managing business‑facing change.
• Background in regulated environments such as financial services or large enterprises.
