Video Production Assistant Intern

About the role

A homegrown media company in Singapore is looking for a Video Production intern to work closely with its Video Team. The intern takes part in every stage of video production, from pre-production and filming to post-production editing, and helps ideate concepts for selected YouTube and Facebook videos. The internship lasts a minimum of 24 weeks (6 months).

Key responsibilities

• Ideate and pitch creative ideas, explaining their potential impact and value.
• Own the organic content strategy for video publications across platforms, adapting to each platform's needs.
• Follow global trends and turn them into content that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Take part in all stages of production, including pre-production, production and post-production.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Communications, Media Studies or equivalent, or currently studying for one.
• Ability to shoot and edit videos, with basic production knowledge from storyboarding to filming and editing a coherent narrative.
• Good understanding of the YouTube content scene and a keen eye for trending topics.
• Able to manage several projects at once under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to a minimum of 24 weeks (6 months).

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (a must)
• Video shooting and editing
