Visiting Professor – Contemporary Literature (English)

About the role
The School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University invites applications for a Visiting Professor position in English. The successful candidate will focus on contemporary literature, especially literary representations of posthuman care in modern fiction, and will teach one course within the English Programme.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a high‑quality undergraduate or graduate course in English literature.
- Contribute actively to the research culture of the English department and the broader School of Humanities.
- Engage with interdisciplinary initiatives across Health, Digital, and Environmental Humanities.
- Mentor students and collaborate with faculty on scholarly projects.
Required profile
- PhD in English, Comparative Literature, or a related humanities discipline.
- Strong expertise in contemporary literature and posthumanism.
- Distinguished record of research publications in reputable journals or presses.
- Relevant university‑level teaching experience.
