Ward Service Associate

About the role

JurongHealth Campus, part of the National University Health System (NUHS), is looking for Ward Service Associates across various disciplines to provide high-quality patient care. The role centres on serving patients and supporting nursing care while keeping the workplace clean and confidential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients
• Serve food and drinks to patients and clear them after meals
• Check food served against patient meal orders
• Assist in inventory management
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around the workstation and follow health and sanitation regulations
• Assist nurses in meeting patients' nutritional needs
• Keep patient information confidential and discreet
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager

Required profile

• Minimum GCE N level or equivalent
• Passion for healthcare; candidates without relevant experience but with a passion for the healthcare industry are welcome to apply
• Excellent customer service and a can-do attitude
• Self-motivated, independent and proactive, able to work well with colleagues
• Able to work staggered hours (7am-4.30pm or 10am-7.30pm), including one Saturday or Sunday a week, and on public holidays

Required skills

• Experience in food and beverages is an advantage
• Basic computer literacy
