About the role
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to manage the receipt, inspection and storage of incoming goods, and to support daily warehouse operations. The role involves handling material, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage receipt, inspection and proper storage of incoming goods and materials.
- Pick, pack and stage goods accurately for scheduled deliveries or collections.
- Operate material‑handling equipment, including forklifts, following safety procedures.
- Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records and conduct periodic stock checks.
- Ensure products and materials are correctly labelled and stored according to procedures.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Support stocktaking, inventory reconciliation and other warehouse‑related activities.
- Perform other store and warehouse tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
