Warehouse Operator

About the role

Satair is hiring a permanent Warehouse Operator in Singapore. The role covers picking and packing goods according to priority and keeping parts in the right locations in the warehouse, following Satair's operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Pick orders in the correct priority sequence and confirm each pick in the system, pasting labels correctly
• Ensure all pick-and-pack transactions are done correctly and that printed documents are sorted before packing and box closure
• Put picked and packed stock back in the correct location
• Comply with packing regulations for dangerous goods and keep the workplace safe and clean
• Inform the manager or team leader promptly of process errors or system issues
• Assist warehouse management with ad hoc requests, help receiving and other warehouse activities, carry out stock checks when asked and support continuous improvement

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC qualification with 2 years of relevant experience; candidates without experience are also welcome to apply
• Willingness to work in different shift patterns
• Service-minded, able to multi-task, thorough and tidy, and able to work in a large team
• Able to prioritise work, speak up constructively and show a sense of urgency

Required skills

• Basic Microsoft Office / Google Suite skills
• Forklift licence or experience driving a forklift or reach truck preferred
• Relevant aviation knowledge and hands-on ERP experience are an added advantage
• Basic IT, literacy and numeracy skills
