Well Systems Project Engineer

About the role

Join a leading engineering team that designs and delivers next‑generation subsea production systems for the oil and gas industry. As a Well Systems Project Engineer you will translate customer requirements into detailed mechanical designs, manage risk, and ensure successful project delivery from concept to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design specifications from initial customer requirements and convert them into manufacturing and operating documents.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks to people, plant and the environment, communicating lessons learned throughout the design process.
• Interpret contractual, customer and regulatory requirements to define all necessary engineering deliverables.
• Plan, schedule and prioritize engineering tasks, ensuring work is executed on time, within budget and to required standards.
• Monitor, coordinate and control project activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations.
• Manage cost control, documentation, and the final hand‑over and close‑out of projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design engineering experience in oil & gas, energy, industrial or renewable sectors.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Proven ability to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
