Workplace Safety Health Officer (WSHO) cum Environmental Control Officer

About the role

The Company is seeking a qualified Workplace Safety Health Officer (WSHO) who will also serve as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO). You will be based at the project site office in Lentor and will work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure a robust safety and environmental regime.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments on site and recommend mitigation measures.
• Monitor compliance with the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and enforce corrective actions.
• Maintain records of environmental incidents and issue spot fines for non‑compliance.
• Lead toolbox talks and manage the permit‑to‑work system.
• Collaborate with various teams to uphold the company’s QEHS Management System and relevant safety legislation.
• Report to the WSH Manager and liaise with Project Managers on safety, health, and environmental matters.
• Review and update site WSH records and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course, Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course, or equivalent safety certifications.
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least five years of relevant post‑registration experience.
• Local construction experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in reading and understanding English and Chinese documents.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
