Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) & Environmental Control Officer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) who will also serve as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) for our projects across Singapore. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a strong safety culture on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular risk assessments at project sites and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor and enforce the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate records of environmental incidents and issue spot fines for non‑compliance.
• Lead toolbox talks and ensure the permit‑to‑work system is operational.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross‑functional teams to uphold the company’s QEHS Management System and WSH Act requirements.
• Review and update site WSH documentation and reports.
• Provide guidance and training on safety programs and environmental best practices.

Required profile

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑registration experience in construction safety and environmental management.
• Relevant certifications such as WSH Coordinator Course or Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Local candidates with building‑site experience are preferred.
