Yield Engineer – Process Integration & Enhancement

About the role

Micron is seeking a Yield Engineer to join its Process Integration & Enhancement (PIE) team in Singapore. The role focuses on analyzing yield data, understanding wafer fab processes, and collaborating with cross‑functional groups to drive yield improvements for advanced memory products.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze yield data and identify process‑related yield limiters across wafer fabrication steps.
• Apply semiconductor device physics and statistical tools to diagnose and resolve yield issues.
• Communicate yield findings and corrective actions to fab process areas and support implementation.
• Collaborate with internal Yield Enhancement groups and multi‑area focus teams to solve complex yield problems.
• Publish clear Pareto analyses of yield limiters for specific part types.
• Support transfer of next‑generation technologies from R&D to production fab as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Effective communicator able to work across all organization levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or prior experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and impact are highly desirable.
