2027 Summer Internship - Product Analyst, APAC

About the role

PIMCO, a global leader in active fixed income investing, offers a 10-week summer internship as a Product Analyst in its Singapore office, running from early June to mid-August 2027. The internship sits within the Product Strategy Group, a team of over 130 professionals covering financial market expertise, strategic business management and entrepreneurship and marketing for a range of PIMCO product lines. Interns work with specialty teams focused on investment strategies such as Multi-Sector Fixed Income, Credit, Emerging Markets and Alternatives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce market and economic updates and portfolio commentaries
• Deliver client portfolio analytics and investment insights
• Gather competitor intelligence
• Create client presentation materials
• Analyse risk and performance attribution

Required profile

• Undergraduate student with an expected graduation date of December 2027 to June 2028, on track for a bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• Able to start full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 and August 2028
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Thai Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
• Interest in financial markets, macroeconomics and investment management

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills; programming languages are a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using emerging technologies and AI tools in projects is a plus
