2H University Intern - Clean Tech Engineering Module

About the role

GlobalFoundries is recruiting a 2H university intern for its Clean Tech Engineering module, based in Woodlands, Singapore. The internship is part of a 20-24 week credit-bearing programme starting from June 2026, aimed at giving students hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry. The project focuses on test wafer management and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify test wafer workflow routes and evaluate the cross-module test wafer downgrade workflow
• Establish and monitor the success rate of the new workflow
• Learn the purpose and function of test wafers in high-volume manufacturing fabs and how to set up test wafer routes
• Contribute to project management, teamwork and presentation skills
• Optimise the test wafer workflow to eliminate wastage before wafers are sent to recycling or reclaim

Required profile

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field through an accredited programme during the internship
• Willingness to learn
• Students must state their internship period clearly in their CV, resume or cover letter
