Account Analyst Internship, APAC (2027 Summer)

About the role

PIMCO, a global leader in active fixed income investing, offers a 10-week summer internship as an Account Analyst in its APAC offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Taiwan. The internship runs from early June to mid-August 2027, with the expectation that you can commit fully for the full duration. You will support the servicing of institutional clients and/or Global Wealth Management businesses, helping investment professionals deliver the best possible client service.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and discuss economic and market trends
• Evaluate portfolio structures
• Deliver attribution analyses to Account Managers and their clients
• Support business development activities in the region

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree, expected to graduate December 2027 - June 2028
• Able to start full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January and August 2028
• On track to achieve a minimum bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• Business-proficient English; proficiency in an Asian language is a plus
• Strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics and investment finance

Required skills

• Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate ideas and strategies clearly, verbally and in writing
• Curiosity about and experience with emerging technologies and AI tools
