Account Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Account Assistant to support our Finance Division across Singapore. You will handle full‑set accounting tasks, assist with payroll, and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts and prepare schedules and reports for audit.
• Enter data promptly into the accounting system and generate financial reports.
• Reconcile accounting records with bank statements.
• Prepare invoices, manage debt collection, and follow up on payments.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, external auditors, and tax agents.
• File GST returns and submit required government survey reports.
• Provide payroll processing on a fortnightly basis, from data collection to staff payments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and staff attendance/leave updates.
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience (preferred).
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
