Account Coordinator - Insurance

About the role

A market leader in international insurance solutions for individuals, professionals and companies is looking for an Account Coordinator in Singapore through its partner, Timeo-Performance. The role sits under the Account Manager and supports the servicing of medical plans.

Key responsibilities

• Work with intermediaries, prospective and existing clients and their insurer partners on the day-to-day servicing of medical plans.
• Act as a liaison between operations, medical teams, finance and actuarial departments so that client requests are met.
• Provide reports and information on sales reporting of business transactions to Account Managers.
• Manage individual and group contracts and work with the Sales team to ensure new and renewal contracts are executed on time.
• Provide backend support to the Sales team, such as quotations and broker / client enquiries.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business administration / management or equivalent.
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in sales support / account management within the insurance sector.
• Meticulous, proactive and able to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidates with CGI or PGI, BCP and HI certifications are preferred but not required.
