About the role

The Account Executive will support the finance team in maintaining robust internal controls, processing transactions, and ensuring timely financial reporting. This position works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to keep financial operations smooth and compliant.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating and implementing internal control procedures.
  • Review and recommend improvements to finance work processes.
  • Monitor daily inward transactions and support monthly closing activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and disbursements.
  • Process GIRO application forms and liaise with banks for approvals.
  • Provide reliable data for cash‑flow projections and maintain the Fixed Assets Register.
  • Coordinate with HR for payroll reconciliation.
  • Document workflow and policies, and review AP ageing for long‑outstanding balances.
  • Liaise with audit partners and perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
