Account Executive - Messaging SMS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive the growth of our Messaging (SMS) business within a fast‑growing cloud communications company. Based in Singapore, you will work with industry partners and internal teams to expand sales opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new and existing accounts, identifying sales and buy‑side opportunities for the Messaging portfolio.
• Participate in sales and marketing activities, including representation at global industry events.
• Develop account strategies by analysing data to uncover opportunities and demonstrate value.
• Stay informed on industry trends and provide insights to management through regular networking.
• Collaborate closely with internal support functions such as finance, legal, operations and customer support to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate prospect and customer information in the company’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Strong background in technology, internet or telecommunications sales and account management.
• Experience with advertising optimisation, wholesale trading, or security/commodity trading is a plus.
• Proven ability to structure, negotiate and sustain significant client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Resourceful problem‑solver who can work independently under pressure and travel when required.
